- ➤ Emergency crews responded to a four vehicle crash on Interstate 64 east in Cabell County near the Spring Valley bridge at mile marker 5 that was reported at 7:15 a.m. on Aug. 28—police, EMS and fire units arrived while traffic slowed. WSAZ

- ➤ Today, Bow Love Boutique has its soft opening at Huntington Mall as it expands its space down the JCPenney Hallway next to Torrid ahead of its grand opening tomorrow at 12 p.m.—the store offers a lifestyle shopping experience with curated fashion, homecoming gowns, beauty products, and gourmet snacks. - ➤ Senator Capito and Governor Morrisey attended the Business Summit at The Greenbrier Resort where Capito said the Legislature did not focus enough on job creation while Morrisey said his administration will improve the economic fundamentals by lowering business barriers—both officials stressed that these steps will help West Virginia compete globally. - ➤ Vandalia Health is set to expand services around the Kanawha Valley with Teays Valley Hospital adding 20 beds and new surgery and endoscopy suites while facilities in Charleston receive planned upgrades. Future projects include new radiation therapy at the CAMC Cancer Center and the start of the CAMC Neuroscience Institute before year's end — improvements aimed at enhancing treatment options in the region.
