- ➤ West Virginia Turnpike officials expect over one million toll transactions this holiday season as drivers use scenic routes to reach family gatherings; DOT spokesperson Brent Walker advises traveling before 10 a.m. & after 6 a.m. to avoid heavier traffic and ensure safe journeys. WSAZ
- ➤ The West Virginia DoHS reported a nearly 90% drop in children waiting for Wraparound services (from 137 in January to 14 by November). Officials said targeted efforts to boost provider capacity and improve access to behavioral health support are making a timely difference for families. WCHS-TV
- ➤ The West Virginia Association of Counties will donate $10,000 to the state's two largest food banks by giving $5,000 each to Facing Hunger Food Bank and Mountaineer Food Bank ahead of Christmas. The donation supports local efforts to help those in need. MetroNews
