- ➤ Fruth, which has served the community since 1952, will sell all 12 of its pharmacy practices to Walgreens on December 3 — a move prompted by reduced reimbursement rates from PBMs. Lynne Fruth said the retail side of the stores will remain open through the end of the year — Walgreens will interview many current employees as part of the transition.
