  • First Look at Four reported that dietician Sydney Adams from St. Mary's Medical Center shared diabetic-friendly holiday recipes for families—while the Old Central City District plans a Christmas celebration to coincide with Small Business Saturday. Local groups are hosting a fudge sale fundraiser and other community efforts, and comedian Jerry Seinfeld is set to perform in Huntington in 2026.  WSAZ

  • Picasso at the Lapin Agile is a play written by *Steve Martin* that imagines a meeting between two famous men in Paris in 1904 and will run from today through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center.  WSAZ

ECONOMY NEWS

  • The Toyota plant in Huntington will soon begin expansion to create new jobs and increase production as part of plans to boost the local economy.  WSAZ

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The board of education met yesterday to discuss closing a local school—officials said additional review and community input will guide the final decision.  WSAZ

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Huntington’s 17 pump stations built in the 1930s now pose safety risks due to outdated high voltage parts and leaky roofs that endanger staff+ the sanitary board is assessing each station and seeking state and federal funds to replace the equipment, which may cost up to $500 million.  WSAZ
  • The West Huntington Bridge closed early today for repairs to improve its safety—local officials advise drivers to plan alternate routes until the work is finished.  WSAZ
