Patrick Morrisey announced the state will donate up to $13 million to two food banks as SNAP funds run out November 1 — his office said extra funds of $1.1 million were accelerated last week and $5 million sent yesterday to help feed those in need. - ➤ Cabell County EMS raised its transportation service rates by nearly 200% in early October to cover rising costs and help improve wages for its paramedics—those with commercial insurance or private pay will notice the change while charity programs help those who qualify. WCHS-TV
