GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Patrick Morrisey proclaimed October 12 as West Virginia Fallen Firefighters Day and held a ceremony at the state cultural center in Charleston to honor firefighters whose service totaled 125 years. Fire service leaders and family members spoke about the bravery and sacrifice needed to protect communities—reminding everyone of the ultimate cost of service.  MetroNews
