- ➤ Matt Harvey resigned from the WV First Foundation board on Sept. 18 as he awaits confirmation as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia and Greg Duckworth, a former state trooper and Raleigh County Commissioner, replaced him as interim board chair— the foundation also announced over $19 million in grants with applications opening on Sept. 22 to address the drug and overdose epidemic.
