- ➤ Huntington launched Project Lights On after volunteers reported over 40 broken streetlights in Highlawn and AEP crews repaired lights Monday and Tuesday—officials plan to expand the project to other parts of the city to improve safety. WSAZ
- ➤ Governor Morrisey announced West Virginia's first comprehensive energy policy in Wheeling on Wednesday, unveiling a plan covering 25 years that will upgrade current power plants and add new coal facilities to help the state reach 50 gw by 2050. He said the plan, which uses input from lawmakers, industry, and consumers, builds on baseload generation (coal, natural gas, nuclear) to ensure a reliable and secure power supply. MetroNews
