- ➤ A man was hospitalized at CAMC with a gunshot wound after state troopers confronted him early Tuesday at a Subway restaurant near the Ghent exit in Raleigh County—troopers reported he was acting erratically and was armed with a handgun. MetroNews

- ➤ On Tuesday, Cabell County officials met at the Barboursville Fire Department to discuss upcoming I-64 construction that will reduce lanes after 7 p.m. on most days — including work at Guyandotte Bridge near Merritts Creek. Fire Chief Andrew Frazier noted more accidents near the 20-mile marker west of the Huntington Mall and urged drivers to slow down in work zones. WSAZ
