  • Cabell County Schools shared progress on Meadows Elementary School in a Facebook post—ZMM Architects Engineers is building an accessible, single-level facility for 235 students that can expand to serve 300 and is set to be completed by the end of summer.  WSAZ

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On Tuesday, the City of Huntington and the Veterans Affairs Administration started Mission Zero using the Marine Co. 1 Boat to help unhoused veterans along the Ohio and Guyandotte Rivers. City leaders said they reached about 40 people Tuesday — and they will host landlord events, shift federal grants, and launch a dashboard later this summer to track progress.  WSAZ
  • Huntington began upgrading its wastewater treatment system yesterday & city officials said the planned improvements will boost water quality for residents.  WSAZ
