  • Isaac Hayes, a rising sophomore at Hurricane High School, finished fourth at the West Virginia Junior Amateur at Canaan Valley and recorded a score of 6 under par with 10 birdies and one eagle. He will try to earn a spot in the West Virginia Open at Glade Springs Resort’s Cobb Course three days before competing in a qualifier for the United Hospital Center Junior Championship on July 13—aiming to build on his recent improvement.  MetroNews
