  • Coalfield Development hosted a job fair — part of its PATH training program that builds hands-on skills in carpentry, construction, and other trades — where employers like EAS Carpenters met participants.   • A proposed Senate budget reconciliation bill is expected to cut jobs and raise household bills, even after changes made to follow the Byrd rule—Sen. Shelley Moore Capito is moving the bill forward.  Charleston Gazette-Mail
  • The state Public Service Commission denied Appalachian Power’s request to cancel the evidentiary hearing on its plan to securitize $2.4 billion in assets—aimed at reducing customer base rate increases—and will hold the one-day hearing on July 1.
