- ➤ An Allegiant Air flight made an emergency landing on Monday afternoon after returning to Huntington Tri-State Airport due to an issue following takeoff and all passengers deplaned safely just before 4 p.m., with officials stating that another plane will pick up affected travelers between 7 and 7:15 p.m. as it departs just before 8 p.m. WSAZ

- ➤ Crews began demolishing Holderby Hall on Monday as Marshall University prepares to replace the building with new apartment-style housing. Workers cleared trees and shrubs and will bring in a large crane on Wednesday for the main demolition later in the week—moving forward with the plan for updated student living spaces. WSAZ
