  • A massive locomotive arrived at the West Virginia Culture Center on Thursday, May 21, adding a historic display to the venue for local visitors. The exhibit is expected to enrich neighborhood pride and culture.  WSAZ

  • Huntington High recognized its Class of 2026 during a graduation ceremony on Thursday at Marshall Health Network Arena — a nighttime event that celebrated local students as they prepared for new beginnings.  WSAZ
  • Sissonville High School held its graduation ceremony on Thursday and honored graduates for completing their high school studies. The event marked a key milestone for students moving forward.  WSAZ

SPORTS NEWS

  • Boyd County senior Jaycie Goad, a softball legend holding records in home runs, RBI, runs scored and hits, visited the studio to detail her plans with Marshall's Thundering Herd next season. Her number 11 jersey is the first and only retired number in the program.  WSAZ
  • A track meet in Huntington is ramping up security after a shots fired incident canceled an earlier event this month. Local officials said extra enforcement measures (including bag checks) will be in place at upcoming meets.  WSAZ
