- ➤ The Huntington Police Department is recruiting new officers and will hold tests on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 at Huntington High School Football Field and the HPD training room (physical tests begin at 9:00 a.m. and written tests start at 11:00 a.m.). Successful candidates will earn a $5,000 to $10,000 bonus, a $59,857 base salary after the first year, full benefits, and paid overtime. WSAZ
- ➤ First responders in Cabell County celebrated the ribbon-cutting for the new Nancy Cartmill EMS station on Tuesday, and the base between 16th Street and 5th Street West will begin service today.
