  • A man is accused of shooting at police during a standoff when he came to his mother's home on Mother's Day — she said she called 911 after he threatened her.  WSAZ
  • Huntington police are asking for help with two hit-and-run incidents—one involving a blue Subaru SUV near Sheetz on Sixth Avenue that sideswiped a parked car and the other a white Dodge Ram reported by Goodwill along Virginia Avenue, which may have a temporary tag—and they urge anyone with details to call 681-360-3306.  WCHS-TV
  • On Saturday, a body was found tangled in logs off the bank of the Guyandotte River near the 4300 block of Route 60 when a man fishing on his boat called 911+state troopers, deputies and local EMS responded and removed the body+it is now at the medical examiner’s office for investigation.  WSAZ

  • May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Marshall University representatives visited First Look at Four — a local news program — to share mental health resources for those in need.
