EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Marshall University held its spring 2026 commencement at Marshall Health Network Arena Saturday. Almost 1,588 students, including many first-generation graduates, walked the stage as programs like Marshall for All helped reduce student debt (Michael Borsuk earned a business degree). WSAZ
- ➤ Marshall University's Joan C. Edwards School of Pharmacy held graduation ceremonies Friday for its doctoral and physician assistant students at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center — part of its spring commencement events — marking a proud academic milestone. WSAZ
- ➤ Spring Valley High School environmental science students took their classroom outdoors to test homemade water filtration systems and study creek life at Harveytown Park during the River Watchers program run by the Foundation for Ohio River Education. Charleston Gazette-Mail
