BUSINESS NEWS

  • Toyota invests $88M to build Hybrid Transaxles in West Virginia and the company donated $100,000 to the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center—this donation will expand training programs and boost local job opportunities. Toyota will begin production on the transaxles in late 2026.  WOWK-TV

CRIME NEWS

  • Brandon Webb, 24, was arrested on Thursday by Huntington Police and U.S. Marshals near the 800 block of 10th Avenue after he was sought for a March shooting at a Marathon convenience store on Bridge Street where a victim was shot in the stomach; he faces charges of wanton endangerment and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.  MetroNews
  • Huntington Police Department and US Marshalls arrested Brandon Webb from the 800 block of 10th Avenue after investigating a March 25 shooting at the Marathon parking lot at 532 Bridge Street — Webb faces charges of Wanton Endangerment and Persons Prohibited From Possessing Firearms.  WOWK-TV
