- ➤ Alpha Xi Delta hosted its 73rd Strawberry Breakfast Thursday, serving pancakes, sausage, biscuits and chocolate-covered strawberries while selling tubs of strawberry butter. Proceeds will support the Kindly Hearts Initiative for foster children and homelessness, and leftover food will go to women’s shelters (and Ronald McDonald House). WSAZ

- ➤ On Apr. 23, WVSU students and staff followed established emergency protocols during a chemical incident on campus, with procedures activated as soon as the situation was identified. WSAZ
- ➤ Marshall women's basketball visited Spring Hill Elementary Thursday to lead a pep rally encouraging students ahead of their end-of-year tests next week (the gesture returned support the team received before a WNIT game). WSAZ
