- ➤ West Virginia lawmakers passed a bill that bans diversity, equity and inclusion practices from state agencies, public schools and colleges. The measure passed with an 87—12 vote on the final night of the legislative session and will be finalized once senators agree to House changes before the session ended at midnight. MetroNews
- ➤ Lawmakers passed a bill today that will help new data centers use their own energy systems within 16 to 18 months — the bill also changes how property tax money is split to support local funds. Senator Phillips opposed the measure, saying he is worried that local ratepayers will face higher power bills. MetroNews
