Zach Davis and Toni Walls from the Cabell-Wayne Association of the Blind visited First Look at Four to show how to make peanut butter eggs—part of their fundraiser for the group.

Yesterday, the Marshall University School of Pharmacy held its awards and pinning ceremony where it honored students, faculty, staff and preceptors with scholarships and an Honor Society induction.

The event featured a keynote speech by Dr. Tyler Class—an alumnus who talked about using lessons from class in real pharmacy work.

Marshall University’s Board of Governors approved a $38,925,985 athletics budget for the fiscal year starting July 1, with 54% of the funds coming from the university and 46% expected from the athletics department.

Director Christian Spears and CFO Debra Broughton said the plan covers salaries, scholarships and upgrades such as a $1.8 million deck at the Shewey Athletic Center—construction is set to begin next week while the department plans to earn outside revenue with events like country singer Zach Bryan’s August 30 concert.
