- ➤ Governor Patrick Morrisey signed the Comprehensive Energy Policy and Development Plan Act on Thursday—advancing his 50 by 50 initiative to boost energy capacity to 50 gigawatts by 2050, protect the grid, and attract major investments that include $12.5 billion and 11,000 jobs since Oct. 1. WSAZ
