- ➤ Mon Health System has started construction on a new small-format hospital in Charles Pointe Crossing in Bridgeport, modeled on its successful Mon Marion Neighborhood Hospital in White Hall. The facility will feature an eight-bed emergency room and 10 private inpatient rooms — and the nearly $30 million project, built from scratch, will allow room for future expansion — to offer local patients quality care close to home.
