- ➤ Marshall University’s Institute for Cyber Security construction is on schedule, and officials say work is proceeding as planned to improve campus cyber security. WSAZ
- ➤ Marshall University is advancing construction on its 72,000 sqft Institute for Cyber Security with crews finishing the first steel erection sequence (the final phase is set for late May or early June) as the project will complete in fall 2027 to train future cyber professionals. WSAZ

- ➤ Forestry crews were on scene of a forest fire near Huntington on Monday, Mar. 30, working to secure the area — authorities continue to monitor conditions. WSAZ

- ➤ Huntington mayor Patrick Farrell said the new Public Safety Dashboard now gives residents access to the same police data used for city deployment decisions. The tool is in use to help improve transparency and trust across the community. MetroNews
- ➤ The governor signed Senate Bill 878 to create the new Office of Entrepreneurship, which will open July 1 to help guide business starters to tailored state resources.
