- ➤ A report from the Ohio River Valley Institute shows that while tariffs on imports from Mexico, China, and Canada set for the first week of April will have little effect on West Virginia’s imports—concern is rising over potential retaliatory tariffs on coal exports to China that could severely impact the coal industry.
