- ➤ The Public Service Commission approved a rate increase for West Virginia American Water Company that will raise water bills by $6 a month and sewer bills by $7, supporting over $239 million in system upgrades. The change applies to customers using an average of 3,000 gallons a month (average usage). MetroNews
