ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fire broke out at about 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Garden Park Apartments in Barboursville, destroying 21 units, displacing about 18 to 20 residents, injuring a volunteer firefighter and hospitalizing a resident for burns, and state fire officials said crews contained the blaze within an hour and a half while its cause remains unknown — officials noted several vehicles were also damaged. Patrick Morrisey asked the legislature to pass the Power Generation and Consumption Act that would let companies build more microgrids and data centers—allowing the use of coal, gas and other fuels for power development.
