EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Dustin Lambert from the West Virginia Department of Education visited First Look at Four to explain free summer camp programs for high school students (more details coming soon). WSAZ
- ➤ Local schools are closed today due to a reported shortage of NTI days needed for teacher training. Education officials said they will soon adjust the academic calendar to ensure students make up for lost instructional time. WSAZ
- ➤ Cabell County Schools Superintendent Tim Hardesty announced his retirement during Tuesday’s board meeting and will step down in July while thanking school staff and families for their support + noting his aim to reconnect the district with the community. WSAZ
